I am a Robotics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder, advised by Christoffer Heckman in the Autonomous Robotics and Perception Group (ARPG). My research focuses on robotic perception algorithms, foundation models within robotics, and developing robust autonomy solutions.

As a project engineer for Team MARBLE in the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, I designed algorithms enabling semi-supervised autonomous operations of mobile robots in search and rescue missions within subterranean environments. Additionally, I’ve explored the use of natural language to direct mobile robots using foundation models.

My goal is to empower robots to effectively sense, interpret, and reason about the complex information within their environments, ultimately leading to highly robust and adaptable autonomous systems.
